There are many countries where we provide services to our clients; each country has its own authorities for supervising the financial market and corporate services. Regarding other requirements, such as AML compliance, reporting may vary a lot too. Here we would like to give a brief overview of each jurisdiction in which we are working, with a description of the regulators, relevant legislation and status of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) – a local bureau aimed at identifying and investigating money laundering and terrorist financing by collecting reports on suspicious (unusual) transactions, established according to recommendations by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) – an international organization for fighting money laundering and terrorist financing.
